ROLE OVERVIEW:
We are looking for a dynamic and business-oriented Lead- HR to who can do two things simultaneously: build the people function from scratch and make an immediate impact on talent. The business has a large, technically sophisticated R&D team and a growing manufacturing workforce – two very different talent archetypes requiring distinct approaches to hiring, retention, and culture.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Strategic HR Business Partnering
– Act as a trusted advisor to business leaders on organization design for R&D, Plant and corporate functions as the business scales.
– Partner with Engineering leadership teams to align HR initiatives with business objectives.
– Drive organizational effectiveness and support business transformation initiatives.
– Understand business priorities, project structures, and capability requirements to proactively provide HR solutions.
Talent Acquisition
– Own end-to-end hiring for R&D (engineers, scientists, product specialists) and other functions (finance, sales, operations).
– Build a sourcing strategy for hard-to-find technical talent – motor engineers, power electronics specialists, embedded systems designers
Employee Engagement & Culture
– Define and articulate the Atomberg Innovation Employee Value Proposition.
– Build a culture that retains deep technical talent in a competitive market where startups and MNCs compete aggressively
– Drive engagement initiatives to build a high-performance and innovation-driven culture.
– Conduct regular connects with employees and managers to understand pulse and address concerns proactively.
– Support leadership communication and change management initiatives.
Performance and Rewards
– Design and implement a performance management framework suited to both R&D and Manufacturing contexts.
– Work with the parent HR team on payroll and benefits operations, which remain centralized
HR Operations & Compliance
– Ensure statutory compliance for plant workforce.
– Define what stays with the parent HR team vs what is owned by AIPL going forward
– Ensure smooth execution of HR processes including onboarding, confirmations, transfers, promotions, and exits.
What we are looking for?
– 7+ years of HR experience post MBA with strong exposure in R&D, Engineering, Plant HR, COE role, MBA 2013-2019 preferred.
– Strong understanding of business partnering, talent acquisition, employee relations, and organizational development.
– Ability to work in fast-paced and evolving business environments.
– Strong stakeholder management and influencing skills.
– Excellent communication, analytical, and problem-solving capabilities.
– Data-driven mindset with the ability to interpret HR analytics.
– High ownership, agility, and execution orientation.
