New Delhi: A 42-year-old man was shot dead by four assailants in South Delhi’s Sangam Vihar area early Wednesday morning in what police suspect was a fallout of an old rivalry. Investigators are probing the possible involvement of the victim’s cousin in the murder.
The deceased has been identified as Hridayesh Mishra, who worked in the construction sector.
According to police, the incident occurred around 5 a.m. near a local temple in Sangam Vihar. Mishra had gone to the area along with his brother, Ajay Mishra, on a motorcycle to move a mini truck that was parked nearby.
