Role Summary As an AI/ML Product Development Intern, you will work closely with experienced engineers and product managers to design, develop, and deploy AI-powered solutions. This role offers exposure to end-to-end product development, from ideation and prototyping to testing and deployment.
Key Responsibilities
- AI/ML Model Development
- Assist in building, training, and optimizing machine learning models for various use cases
- Work with traditional ML algorithms (classification, regression, clustering) and modern deep learning frameworks
- Support implementation of natural language processing (NLP) and computer vision solutions
- Contribute to model evaluation, validation, and performance tuning
- Product Development
- Participate in product ideation and requirement gathering sessions
- Develop prototypes and proof-of-concept solutions
- Integrate AI/ML models into production-ready applications
- Build APIs and backend services for model deployment
- Data Engineering
- Assist in data collection, preprocessing, and quality validation
- Support ETL pipeline development for structured and unstructured data
- Perform exploratory data analysis and feature engineering
- Testing & Quality Assurance
- Design and execute testing protocols for AI models and applications
- Debug issues across development and deployment environments
- Document test results and maintain quality metrics
- Documentation & Learning
- Create technical documentation for models, workflows, and APIs
- Participate in knowledge-sharing sessions and team meetings
- Stay updated on latest AI/ML trends, frameworks, and best practices
Eligibility Requirements
- Currently pursuing or recently completed a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in:
- Computer Science
- Information Technology
- Data Science
- Electronics and Communication Engineering
- Artificial Intelligence
- Or related technical fields
- Have AI/ML as part of your academic curriculum, OR
- Have completed self-learning in AI/ML through online courses, certifications, or personal projects
Mandatory Requirements
- Own Laptop: Candidates must have their own laptop for the duration of the internship
- Availability: Full-time commitment for 6 months
- Academic Standing: Good academic record with strong fundamentals in computer science
