Many students panic after hearing about the 75% eligibility rule for engineering admissions. Some fear missing it, while others unfortunately do miss the cutoff. But one thing is important to understand: your engineering journey does not end because of one percentage barrier. Several reputed engineering colleges across India accept students with eligibility ranging from 45% to 60%, through exams like JEE Main, MHT-CET, WBJEE, IPU Counselling, and private university entrance tests. Many of these colleges offer excellent placements, strong coding culture, internships, and industry exposure.
