Role: Head – D2C & Marketplace (E-commerce) | LoveChild
- This is not a replacement hire — it’s a growth-critical leadership role
- Objective: Scale LoveChild’s E-commerce business to its full potential
- D2C + Marketplaces contribute ~50% of total revenue (core business, not a side channel)
- Requires a shift from discount-led volume to brand-led, high-quality growth
Key Responsibilities
- Own end-to-end P&L for:
- Brand website (D2C)
- All marketplace platforms
- Drive overall E-commerce strategy, including:
- Platform strategy & growth
- Customer acquisition & retention
- Category & assortment management
- Build brand.com as a strong destination platform
- Ensure marketplace excellence across:
- Top-line growth (GMV, revenue)
- Bottom-line performance (margins, efficiency)
- Lead and scale a high-performing E-commerce team
- Work closely with:
- Business Head – LoveChild (direct reporting)
- Leadership team (dotted line)
What We’re Looking For
- 5–8 years experience in D2C / E-commerce
- Strong P&L ownership experience
- Background in Beauty / Personal Care industry
- Proven track record of:
- Building or leading high-impact teams
- Driving sustainable E-commerce growth
- Deep understanding of marketplace ecosystems:
- Nykaa, Amazon, Myntra, Quick Commerce platforms
- Strong grasp of algorithms, visibility levers, and performance drivers
- Ability to balance:
- Brand building (D2C)
- Performance-driven marketplace growth
Preferred Background
- MBA preferred
- Not mandatory if execution track record is exceptional
