Global Capability Center (GCC) Leader : Bengaluru

We are hiring a leader for a technology-focused micro Global Capability Center (GCC) in Bengaluru for a global organisation.
This is a founding leadership role with end-to-end ownership to build, scale, and lead the GCC from the ground up — starting with a team of 30 and growing to 50 within the first year.
If you are someone who has been close to small sized GCC setups or have built and scaled engineering teams in high-growth environments, this role offers a unique opportunity to step into a full ownership leadership position.

Key Responsibilities :

–      Build & Scale the GCC : Lead the setup and expansion of the GCC from ~30 to 50+ team members. Drive hiring strategy and execution across engineering roles
–      Engineering Leadership : Establish strong engineering practices, delivery frameworks, and quality standards. Provide hands-on leadership across architecture, design, and execution
–      Team Building & Culture : Hire, mentor, and retain high-performing engineering teams. Build a strong, ownership-driven and performance-oriented culture
–      Stakeholder Management : Act as the primary interface with global stakeholders. Ensure alignment on delivery, priorities, and long-term roadmap
–      Operational Ownership : Drive delivery excellence, predictability, and scalability. Collaborate with internal teams on HR, compliance, and infrastructure

We are specifically looking for builders, not just operators.

You could be a strong fit if you:
–      Have 10–15 years of experience in engineering leadership roles
–      Have scaled teams from 20 → 50+ in a high-growth environment
–      Have worked as a second-line leader in a GCC setup (reporting to GCC Head)
OR
–      Have been part of a startup/product company, building and scaling engineering teams

–      Comfortable working in ambiguous, build-from-scratch environments
–      Experience working with global stakeholders (US/EU)
